| This is the second presentation in my series on “Beer Recipe Formulation”. The first presentation concentrated on malt and is available on the Hogtown website for review. In tonight’s presentation we will discuss hops and although I have a brief introduction to the plant I really wanted to discuss the role of hops in brewing and leave the horticulture to the experts. This talk will be limited to a discussion of hop varieties and the chemicals and processes that influence our beers. |
